2020 Video Concert Series

An upside of the Covid19 lockdown was that we were able to gather these five exceptionally talented individuals, who are presently in New Zealand, to meet at the Auckland Opera Studio and perform for us. Enjoy their exquisite performances...

Amitai Pati, Tenor:  
A member of Sol3 Mio and recent Adler fellow with the San Francisco Opera, Amitai has performed in the US, NZ, Australia, the Pacific Islands and most recently in France where he made his European debut singing Nadir in Les Grands Voix's production of Les Pêcheurs de Perles. 

Eliza Boom, Soprano:   
Eliza is an alumna of the National Opera Studio, Royal Northern College of Music, Waikato University and Vision College ATC. The recipient of many awards both in New Zealand and abroad, in September she will join the Bayerische Staatsoper Opera Studio in Munich.

Natasha Wilson, Soprano: 
Auckland-born Natasha has recently been based in the USA as a Resident Artist with Pittsburgh Opera.  Natasha is looking forward to returning next season. Natasha has previously been heavily involved with New Zealand Opera and was an Emerging Artist with the Company in 2018. 

Manase Latu, Tenor:  
Manase is a past winner of the NZ Aria Competition and the IFAC Handa Australian Singing Competition.  He is currently a Kiri Te Kanawa scholar studying at The Royal College of Music in London.

Somi Kim, Accompanist   
South Korean born New Zealand pianist, Somi is sought after as a chamber musician, song accompanist and répétiteur.  As Associate of the Royal Academy of Music and pianist of NZTrio, Somi’s recent and future appearances include Het Concertgebouw, Slovak Philharmonic and Wigmore Hall.
