Tayla Alexander is the youngest student of the Auckland Opera Studio.
Her crystal clear high notes caught the ear of a music label when she was only 12 years old. Since this time the young soprano has performed in concert halls with national orchestras, performed live on many TV programmes and sung to crowds of more than 200,000 and launched her top ten debut album, making her the youngest to appear on the New Zealand music charts.
The young soprano has performed for high profile dignitaries including the former Prime Minister for New Zealand, Sir John Key. She is committed to her music studies and has a very heavy trophy cabinet and was awarded the coveted AIMES Special Judges Award in 2014.
Tayla has worked with respected music producers and released her songs globally through ITunes and today her songs are played in more than 15 countries. She has performed and recorded in several languages including Chinese, German, Italian and Maori.
