Auckland Opera Studio will hold a series of recitals at Mollies Hotel, 6 Tweed St, Herne Bay, and two operas with the Auckland Chamber Orchestra at Auckland Concert Chamber. Our first major function planned for 2010 is a special black tie dinner fundraising event at Mollies with music and conversation provided by special guest - Artistic Principal/Patron, Simon O’Neill and accompanist Terence Dennis.

As well as bringing us up to date with his amazing international career Simon will talk about his experience of making the Wagner recording last year with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, and sing some excerpts from that programme. Cost is $200 per person witrh proceeds going directly to support the production and release of the CD which has been eagerly awaited by opera lovers everywhere.
